Hello and welcome to Australia to all of the new Victoria University students! This page will instruct you on how to purchase as many of our incredible trips as you would like. The tours we are offering to you in Semester 1, 2019 are the Yarra Valley/Healesville trip, Great Ocean Road day trip, and the Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs/Brewery trip. Joining us on these days will allow you to experience some of the most breath-taking sights in Australia as our local guides give you the most authentic experience of Aussie Life. Sign up ASAP to secure your spot!
This is the perfect trip to start off your Semester! We head to Healesville Sanctuary in the morning, to get up close and personal with some Australian wildlife. You’ll have plenty of time to get around the park as well as check out all the live shows, including our personal favourite the ‘Spirits of the Air’ show. Amongst the nosy wombats and friendly wallabies, you might even spot the well-camouflaged Lyrebird – capable of imitating just about any sound on earth.
Following on from the Sanctuary we head to one of the most well-known wineries in the Yarra Valley region, as we are taken for a wine tasting session from one of their knowledgeable staff. To finish the day we stop by the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie where you can try a range of chocolates or home-made ice-cream on offer.
Spots are limited and will sell quickly, so sign up ASAP!
See you there!
Nature at its best! The majestic Great Ocean Road – miles of eroded coastline that gets hit so hard by waves and wind that it breaks off into the ocean, leaving mysterious shapes. Walk a few hundred metres inland and we’ll see the dense rainforest lining the sheer cliffs, a dangerous environment that early european settlers struggled to steer their ships through.
There will be beautiful waterfalls, rivers, beach’s, wild koalas, and finally the Twelve Apostles. This is one trip you DO NOT want to miss.
Come and join us as we head down the Mornington Peninsula and chill out under the stars at the Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs. Before reaching the Hot Springs, we will enjoy some Wood-Fire Pizza and Beer from a local brewery on the Peninsula.
This trip is always such a highlight. There is no better way to enjoy an evening than spending it relaxing with friends in Victoria’s only naturally heated mineral spas.
We will be leaving around mid afternoon (roughly 4pm), so you don’t have to keep your whole day free to still be able to attend.
